With TARGIT Excellerator users get access to many of TARGIT’s exiting features – directly from MS Excel.

TARGIT Excellerator client adds extra functionality to MS Excel, allowing the spreadsheet and the other TARGIT products to fully integrate with each other. It is especially suited for companies who are accustomed to working with Excel.

The extension provided with TARGIT Excellerator significantly increases the functionality and dynamic features of Excel while allowing users to work within the same user interface.

With Excellerator You Can:

  • Import information into Microsoft Excel via TARGIT with just a single click.
  • Develop data analyses using TARGIT’s unique, intuitive, user-friendly interface.
  • Exchange information independent of language.
  • Work with dynamic values that are constantly updated.
  • Delve into the figures underlying any given analysis.
  • Set up intelligent agents to notify you if a value reaches a predetermined level.
  • Access the toolbar Commands:”Business Analytics” and ”Intelligent Analysis”.

The TARGIT Excellerator functionality is accessed via two new toolbar buttons in Excel, “Business Analytics” and “Intelligent Analysis”. The difference between the buttons lies in the way the user reaches his or her goal.

When choosing the Business Analytics command, the TARGIT ”Business Analytics” function is activated. A window opens from which you can dynamic data (Meta data) from the BA solution. The data is displayed in the language you have personally ed.

The SmartCalculations function allows you to add extra columns such as “% of total”, “top x”, “top X%” or an 80/20 analysis, all with a single click. The “one click” analysis functions are also available if you choose to incorporate a time dimension. Once you have chosen the desired properties, a single click on “Display” will lead you back to Excel. Your information now appears in Excel with an attached explanation.

ing the Intelligent Analysis button allows you to work with TARGIT’s Meta Morphing functionality, “I would like to see…”. The function resembles the ‘BA’ method, but it is more intuitive as you are guided through the process. You can design precisely the analysis you need and then simply press ‘Go’ to have your data presented in a cross tabulation in Microsoft Excel.
